Whether you work at a sauna or are an enthusiastic BenC customer with a home sauna, this clinic provides you with all the knowledge and tools to perform a proper Aufguss yourself.
What is Sauna Aufguss?
Sauna Aufguss, also known as “Aufguss,” involves traditionally pouring water mixed with essential oils onto the hot sauna stones. This increases the humidity in the sauna and creates an invigorating and therapeutic experience through the diffusion of fragrant steam. During an Aufguss session, the steam is mixed with essential oils and distributed throughout the sauna using a towel or fan. This ensures that the heat is distributed evenly and the senses are stimulated.
What Will You Learn During the Clinic?
During this comprehensive sauna infusion and essential oils clinic, you will gain in-depth insight into everything related to sauna infusion. You will learn about the use and effects of essential oils and how best to use them for an infusion session. By the end of the day, you will be fully prepared to compose and perform an infusion yourself.
You will receive extensive information about what scent is, how scents work, and why they are important in the sauna. You will discover how to combine fragrances and how to determine the correct dosage and strength for an optimal infusion experience.
Furthermore, you will receive practical tips on safety during infusions, such as the use of ice and water, and learn how to organize a themed infusion session. Attention is also paid to creating a sauna infusion schedule based on a theme and the associated costs.
